Theological Controversies and Why They Matter

Theological Controversies and Why They Matter
Theological controversies, to those not involved in them, can appear hair-splitting and pointless. This course will look at some controversies (such as debates over predestination and free will in Christianity or why you should keep Kosher in Judaism) and explore their roots and their implications. We will consider why, at least for some people, these debates matter deeply and what they believe is at stake. Min. 15, max. 35
